Perfect crime

Its Friday evening, usually during Fridays night the youth go out and enjoy themselves with friends, family, colleagues or even just alone to to celebrate the beginning of the weekend. This Friday evening a young girl called Gift did not get a chance to do this as she was sitting weeping, scared, confused and in shock surrounded by lots of police officers, local people pointing fingers at her some taking pictures and some shouting at her and her young brother (Simon) looking at her with disappointment in his eyes. Her brother was so sad looking at her like he has lot to say to her but its too late. She walked toward her brother to say something to him but the police stopped her and arrested her while she was heading to him, he looked at her while still in so much shock and sadness as he sees her with so much tears in her eyes while the police was taking her away. He looked as the police drove away with her and turned to see around looking at the crowd which is screaming, taking pictures of him and throwing things at him but he is so lost in his emotions that he cannot even hear what they are all bumbling about. He slowly walked away step by step and finally went in home. Few minutes after entering his house he came out soaked in blood standing at the front of his house, an elder women who was passing by saw him and came closer to see what is wrong with him because he was standing like someone who completely lost it, as she got closer she saw him holding a knife, he got some wounds and his clothes were all covered with blood, so she decided to call the police.

The police were shocked when they entered the house and couldn’t believe what they saw so they tried to move away the locals to go away and not take pictures so they can control the situation. Simon was still standing there holding his knife, shaking and not moving looking so pale with tears running down his cheeks and with so much sadness in his eyes. The police called other police officers to help and make sure sure the locals don’t enter the prohibited area or anywhere near the house or Simon as they were so curious about what happened in the house and some were trying to get answers from Simon who was standing like he is soulless in front of the house. The police officers got their cars closer to the house so they can remove what they supposed to. They informed him that he was under arrest what he was being arrested for, informed him of his rights including to legal representation and handcuff him Without any resistance from him and went to keep him under custody at the same prison where his little sister Gift was kept.

Later one of the police officer informed Gift that his older brother Simon was also brought into custody today at the same station and she was so shocked slowly moved backward and sat down hugging her knees staring at the wall with tears running from her eyes resting her face on her knees. The police officer asked her what’s going through their heads, but she kept quiet on the same pose staring at the wall, the officer said some harsh things to her but she didn’t even look at the officer. Back to Simon he kept standing in the cell the same way he was standing in front of his home when police found him with tears running down his face looking in front of him, looking lost sad and not saying anything.
